Players staying out on loan

Jake Livermore is set to stay at Hull City today after his successful loan spell so far there where he forms a central midfield pairing with former Spurs crowd favourite Tom Huddlestone.

Jake is on a season long loan and Hull City boss Steve Bruce has conformed he is staying at Hull and not being recalled by Spurs. There had been rumours starting to circulate that he would be recalled by Sherwood but they have no foundation.

Loan rules state any club recalling a player has to give 24 hours written notice and we have not given any so we can't recall him.

Another loanee Ryan Fredericks who has been at Millwall on a 93 day loan spell has now extended that until the end of the season. Ian Holloway has been keen to keep him at Millwall and we have been waiting to see our injury situation at the end of the window before we would sanction any deal.

A surprised but delighted Ryan Fredericks
Right back Fredericks was Ian Holloway's first signing after taking charge at Millwall, a club we regularly send players to to develop, Adam Smith, Harry Kane and Andros Townsend immediately spring to mind.

Fredericks has pace and made a flying start to his Championship loan spell scoring the winner in front of his home fans on his debut. He scored the only goal as Millwall beat in form Ipswich Town 1-0 at the New Den.

Ryan put is a cross from the right towards the end of the first half and it evaded everyone ending up in the back of the net as I think his expression shows.
