Reports suggest a bid for Inter Milan's Columbian midfielder Fredy Guarin.
Inter have desperately been trying to offload him since the summer with no luck when they wanted £14.80m (€18m) for him. Now hawking him around Europe and getting little if any interest they have tried us and we have apparently said we'll give you £8.2m (€10m).
The story makes little sense however as we try to free up spaces in our midfield by loaning or selling Lewis Holtby and Etienne Capoue to bring back Tom Carroll from his loan spell at QPR, use Nabil Bentaleb and give Erik Lamela more game time.

Ossie Ardiles has spoken of the bad car crash he and Ricky Villa had while in the Falklands Islands.
"I can only say thank you to all the Tottenham fans for their messages of support. Thank you very much for the concern and the best wishes.
"It was a huge accident. I was driving. This reinforced the thought that my Spurs mates always have about me: I cannot drive!
"Ricky was my co-pilot and we were saved because we were using our seat-belts. My son Freddy was in the car as well, plus four crewmen.
"We lost control of the car and we overturned. We were like in a cocktail, up and down, up and down, until we finally we stopped with a bang.
"It is a miracle that no one was badly injured. Ricky had just a little bruising - always a lucky man! I had lots of tests, no internal injuries and 35 stitches later, I am okay now.
"After the accident, I was the main concern because I was losing a lot of blood. However, when I saw the RAF helicopter, I knew my ordeal was over.
"From there to the Intensive Care Unit in the King Edward VII hospital in Port Stanley where we were looked after superbly by everybody.
"I am in Cordoba now in the house of my brother, resting with family and friends. I will be back in London next week and hope to see you all at White Hart Lane."

In Spain El Mundo Deportivo claim the Gareth Bale deal cost Real Madrid €265 million (£217m). Real are of course fooling nobody claiming he was bought for €91m (£74.81m) when they are paying €101m (£83.03m) over 4 years.
On top of that is €6m (£4.93m) insurance a year and Bale's €14m (£11.51m) wages which lead the paper to conclude that when Florentino Perez said they were paying for the transfer with resources from Real Madrid that he was not being entirely honest.
