Ljajic leaving Fiorentina this window + Chriches update

Fiorentina owner Andre Della Valle expects Spurs, AC Milan and Liverpool target Adem Ljajic to leave in the next few days.

The Serbian was not in his sides squad on Monday to face Catania and was told he would be put up for sale if he didn't sign the contract extension he is currently refusing to sign.

"The boy is a bit nervous, and Montella [Fiorentina manager] has decided not to bring him here.

"In the coming days he will almost certainly leave Florence. Not selling to Milan? Never say never."

The 21 year-old could be available for around £7.5 million (€9m) and with a salary in 2012 of only £602,632 (€700,000) which is £11,589 (€13,461) a week, the wage bill would be kept under control to help meet Financial Fair Play regulations.

Ljajic plays as a secondary striker or attacking midfielder at Fiorentina, a position we are actively looking to fill. He can even play left wing so suits various formations.

Personal terms have been agreed with Vlad Chiriches on a 5 year deal worth £1.03 million (€1.2m) a year which is £19,867 (€22,867) a week according to his agent Victor Becali.

Chiriches is considered to be one of the better ball-playing central defenders in Europe and looks set to cost us £8.18 million (€9.5m) from Steaua Bucharest.
