Friedel is disappointed
Brad Friedel who was in goal for the second half has spoken of the defeat against Sundeeland by what was almost a Spurs second XI.
He made a series of terrific save in the second half and came out of the game with credit. He said:
“You are never happy to be on a wrong side of a result but getting minutes under the belt in pre-season is always a positive.
“No-one likes losing, but the thing about losing in pre-season is that it’s not the end of the world.
“You still come back to the changing room and see lots of unhappy faces but that’s how we are, we’re all competitors, we all want to win, but it’s pre-season and we have another game to think about on Saturday.”
