Redknapp: "I'm going to have a problem"
"I'm going to have a problem with my four front players. All of them are terrific lads and have such great talent.
"They all want to play and it's going to be near on impossible keeping them all happy", said Harry in response to how he's going to keep Keano, Defoe, Pavlova and Crouchie happy.
If you were Harry, what would you do? I know a lot of you would want him to sell Keane, but selling a player isn't always that easy.
I think he's going to have a problem and he knows it.
"The problem is that they all want to play in the league", was Harry's response when told that it's a squad game nowadays.
Let's look on the bright side, isn't it a nice problem to have? I know that Rafa Benitez would welcome such a problem after taking a look at his bench in yesterdays game.

In the two matches I've been to at the Lane this season Keane and Crouch have looked lost and pointless whilst Pav and Defoe have looked great.
It's not really a hard choice right now.
PS Please sign another 'proper' midfielder...Palacios has changed things at Spurs. We finally have someone who can boss a game. Wonderful signing, shame it took so long. COYS.
I don't think we've see the best of Pav yet but Harry must not rate him or cant seem to get the best out of him(language barrier maybe?).
As for pointy shouty bloke, I thought it might happen!! If he got a decent shot on goal and didn't put it away, I would call all names of shite!! If he hadn't gone I probably would have put it down to good save!!!
Give Crouchie and Defoe a run and lets see whats happen!!
For me it always going to be about our away form and I really dont think we have enough steel in the middle but must admit Wilson looking the really deal.
Saying he can play out left or fill in the middle a bit like Luka...
Has he maybe got a card up his sleeve or is he just trying to help out Portsmouth?
Adding Kranjcar alternating with Luka on the left could be pretty interesting especially now we have Wilson to mop up...
Add another top DM/CM a la Sissokho/Matuidi to replace JJ and I believe we actually may have a damn good squad together...
I went to the Tottenham v Liverpool game and Robbie Keane was Outstanding!!! All Honest he should have scored the 1st goal the next effort unlucky 3rd well took a swing.. Robbie Keanes willingness and work rate of linking with the midfield and his intelligent runs were a huge difference.....Defoe!! Alot of energy running into, channels and trying to hold up the ball, but as an attacking threat sorry, Martin Jol was correct best place on the bench! Even though Martin Jol Commented that Defoe had improved after scoring against Holland with his Left foot, but Defoe is inconsistent...Crouch! What a waste of money! White Men Can't Jump! He suffered from that and more....Pav and Robbie keane up front for me and Defoe and Crouch can sit and hold hands on the bench and talk about the good old days at Pompey!!! Van Der Vaart if we can get him would be Great. Joe Cole from Chelsea is still a possibility Petrov on his …
bentley,Jenas,Chimbonda and CROUCH.
Chrouch looked at the Liverpool game, more headless chicken than Bent, and did NOT one time
delivered well. I dont know how Harry are so much
in love with this player,sorry.
I prefer Defoe,Keane with Pav on the bench.Even Keane seems to have lost some sharpness, his workrate, and importance for the team are essential.
Get Robben,Scheider or silmilar high profile
midfielder and we can go far in the league.
Keano first choice with either Crouch or Defoe to partner depending on the opposition.
As for all the people screaming for Pav to get his chance, did you not watch him play last season? Anytime he came up against anyone better than Burnley he was shite. Pav should be a starter in the Carling Cup and a bench warmer (at best) for all other games.
We all have our views on who is best in their positions, but your all missing the important part of the game............we won on our opening game of the season for the first time in 9 years and against the supposed champions to be this year - Liverpool!!
Why be so negative on what every pundit in the UK have stated - We were better on the day than Liverpool. Let's just back the team and players and maybe we can finish in a high league position and maybe even bring home some silverware!!!
COYS
SPURS!!!!
Regarding now, Ithink this is exactly the right situation for our manager to have on his hands - a group of 4 all pushing for a start each week. Otherwise there's insuffiecient cover for injuries and it's also a great motivator for them to play well when they get the chance.
Should never have had him back...and as for giving him the captaincy......I'm speechless.
Sooner he is gone, the better.
Against Liverpool he had three excellent chances and should have had a hat trick. Instead, he scored none. He's not been the same player since his return.
Get rid ASAP!
We played well on Sunday and I think we have the potential to challenge the top clubs this year; have some faith
Everyone here knows full well that no matter how many years playing for a club you have grown to love and being one of the most consistent performers each year, if your boyhood club came knocking at your door and you were given the opportunity to play in the champions league you would go.
At Keane's age he had to leave as he might get the chance to play for a club he supported growing up!
Because he moved it doesn't take away how he feels about Spurs, in fact it proves how much he cares to come back to our club after 6 months and the way he played against Liverpool was a breath of fresh air. It's good to see someone actually playing for a team rather than their pay cheque!
You guys should get behind him more!!!
Keane should also, pop into Specsavers.
Bentley should also be played, he is better at passing and dead balls than Lennon. Okay, Lennon goes past players but he doesn't look up until it is to late.
Bent or Crouch who is the better striker?
