Is it the Real deal?

I've received a few emails asking me if I know anything about us signing the Real Madrid stars, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Arjen Robben.

The truth is, I know no more than the next person. All I know is that Huntelaar is apparently wanting to join us and it also looks as though Robben has done a u-turn and said that he wouldn't mind joining us either.

I personally don't know what to believe? Would I welcome the above two to the Lane? You bet I would! I think the majority of us have seen Robben play and so we know what he'll bring to the table. How many have seen Huntelaar play? I have only seen him play for Real Madrid on two occasions. He was rubbish in both games. Whether he'll be any good in the Premier League is another matter though. From what I've heard, Huntelaar is a confidence player. Therefore, if we do sign him, we may see him flourish again under Redknapp.

  1. tbh, I can't see Robben signing for us. Some Mancs are saying that Fergie will go in for him as a replacement for Ron.

    Huntelaar looks like he's on his way to us though. I have seen him play for Ajax in the CL and he's been phenomenal!

    If there's a club that's on the up in London, you know it's West Ham. We've got the best young manager in England and will finish above you this season.

  12. I've got a few Arsenal mates and they are really worried about being knocked off the 4th spot by either City or another club.

    They are well angry at the fact that they have only signed one defender and that the money pot looks to have dried up.

    It's great listening to them whilst having my lunch break!

  14. It's great knowing that we'll finish in the top 4 this season. Spurs have been trying for so long. Arsenal have been there for so long. At the end of the day, it's money that makes the world go round.

    We're also about to sign Terry from the stuck-up Russians in London to. This must be frustrating for them!

HammersHarry West ham havent won a cup since 1980, you have lost 5 of the last 6 games we have played against each other, spurs are your cup final (hence your biggest ever attendance was against us), you have won only 7 cups and never won a top divisonal league, in the last decade you have finished above us twice!

  21. Your all buzzing boys. Dont think either of these will sign for us. As for Young being better than robben....Your wrong - so wrong! Robben is world class. Hate to say it but too good for spurs...Lucky if we get Huntlelaar also.

BlueManchester, as much as I'd like to see someone shake up the league a bit and piss of the gooners and the blue scum from london...you should take it from a spurs fan that signing a load of fancy dan players may get your hopes up, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to hit the ground running! there's gelling time and conflicting personalities - not to mention the pressure...good luck, but you could still be in for at least half a season of disappointment.   25. Thanks for your concern, but I believe in the little bits of paper that have the Queens head on them. We've got lots of those pieces of paper.

    Blackburn & Chelsea have had lots of those pieces of paper and have won the league. I can't see us not getting into the top 4 this season.

    The season after next, we'll be in the Champions League. Then you'll see how many players flock to the blue half of Manchester.

    We'll win the league in the next 3 seasons.

  31. West Ham Fans: Forget our rivalry which solely exists because we are London based teams. As time has shown, we are the better team... even with 2 points from 8 games last season.

    Manchester City Fans: I am definitely impressed with your squad. Spending money doesn't always equal wins necessarily, but the type of money you are spending should bring success. Here's the sour point though: if you don't break the top 4 this season - OUCH, IT WILL BURN LIKE FRESHLY POOPED SPICY INDIAN FOOD HEMORRHOIDS!

  34. I am concerned that Spurs are playing pre season prep games and pre season training WITH players who may be going and WITHOUT players who may be signing and need to get used to their new team mates.

    Why are the signings so late? As soon as Madrid signed their new 'Galacticos' We should have had a deal in place to buy Henize, Robben and Negredo / Huntealaar.

    Have the club learnt nothing from last season's brinkmanship signings?

  36. i can`t believe west ham fans read spurs blogs they must be desperate ,even more than us ,how many spurs fans read up about west ham ? none because we aint that sad , spurs go all out for huntelaar he`s mustard , please please please but robben no thanx dives too much & feigns injury & when the chips are down ( which they are at spurs a little too often ) he goes hiding , we need fighters , zokora gone at last , useless keane & jenas next (far too inconsistent for me them too ) can`t believe he brought keane back one great game in three aint enough ,i prefer bent & pav to stay , there is something in pav which i think deserves another season to prove himself , & bent is a great covering striker ,hey , 17 goals aint that bad , there`s a lot worse (crouch)
