Ramos Signs Mexican!

Spurs have just completed the signing of Giovani Dos Santos from Barcelona for around £4 million.


Giovani, as he prefers to be called, can play as a striker, or in the hole just behind the front two.

He plays for the Mexican national side and has signed a 5-year contract with the club.

Richard Dunne is also expected to sign for the club shortly in a deal worth £3 million.

Even with the appointment of Mark Hughes as City's new manager, Dunne has stated his ambition to quit Eastlands.

  5. Giovani was used mostly as a sub at Barcelona, but thats because of the quality that was a head of him. Henry, Eto'o, Bojan, Messi, even Gudjohnsson were a head of him. I heard reports that he wasn't played as much becuase of disciplinary reasons. Just because he didn't start for one of the best sides in Europe doesn't mean he's not quality. Rijkaard was under tremendous pressure by the club which also contributed to the lack of playing time. Plus, he scored a hattrick in the last game of the season, and for Mexico which show that if given the oppurtunity Giovani can perform at a high level.
