German Striker & England Winger Linked

Reports are stating that we are after the Bayern Munich & German striker, Lukas Podolski.

The striker, who I feel would do great in the Premier League, is valued at around £8 million by the Bavarian club and has been shown the door after being deemed surplus to requirements.

It's probably just paper talk and/or his agent trying to get him a new club. If true, I feel he could strike up a sensational partnership with Keano as Podolski is powerful striker and likes to get stuck in.

Also doing the rounds (Metro Newspaper) is the story that Blackburn & England winger, Bentley, is close to a move to his beloved Spurs.

But at £15 million?? That's surely way too much for him. If we could get him for around £10 million, it would be a real catch.

If we are to actually sign the above two mentioned players, the only positions that we would need to fill would be a centre-half and a commanding central midfielder.

PS. Oh yeah, and a decent goal-keeper!

  3. i would rather have arshavin than both players tbh. he is class every time i watch him whether its zenit or russia. watching him against sweden and after 10mins he has been superb! he can play on both wings, both footed and can play up top behind a main man. podolski would be good but doubt we will gofor him as gio dos santos is a very similar player.

  5. So many ITK's that I personally know are claiming that the Bentley deal has been finalised and the fee is £12 million.

    Anyone else heard this?
  6. Arshavin is a lightweight and would get run over in the prem. Bentley is almost a done deal as is Coupet. Plus the Berbatov/ Eto'o possible swap deal is gaining momentum.

  9. I for one, don't want the likes of Eto'o and his arrogance at the club. He choses in which matches to shine. Waste of space in my opinion.

    Spurs have just announced the Bentley signing btw.
