Chelsea after Lennon

Chelsea are reported to be preparing a £10 million bid for Spurs winger, Aaron Lennon, according to reports that will circulate tomorrow.

Former Chelsea boss, Mourinho, is interested in Shaun Wright-Philips and has reaffirmed his interest by tabling an offer for the England International.

With the departure of Wright-Philips imminent, Chelsea are said to have shown a deep interest in Lennon. Any bid will wait until after 1st July, when Scolari takes over.

  5. what rubbish. Scolari is in the middle of the Euros and has probably never even heard of Lennon. Lennon is not yet a finished product and Chelsea only buy finished products. Spurs are building their squad from the bottom up and doing a good job of it - why would they sell a player who is undoubtedly talented and just needs good management and coaching to be worth twice the price?
