Rising Stars

The future at White Hart Lane couldn't get any better as regards our reserve and academy players.
Tottenham Hotspur have some superb young players coming through the ranks at the moment as the club are staying true to their word and developing the best talent in the UK. The club has taken extra care of the reserve team and academy youngsters in its attempts to boost the club with exceptional talent.
Our European scouting system is in place and working to fruition as players such as Tomas Pekhart and Dorian Dervite have been brought into the club over in the past two seasons and have gradually adapted and developed into excellent footballers.
We certainly mustn't forget our homegrown talents either. Players such as Terry Dixon, Leigh Mills and Cian Hughton have been developing under the stewardship of the clubs Youth Development Coach, Clive Allen.
Just like Pekhart, Dixon has been hammering in the goals in the academy games he's been involved in. Mills is an exceptional utility player that can play anywhere across the back line and in midfield, whilst Hughton (Chris Hughton's son) is an extremely talented speedy fullback.
We may well be seeing all or some of the above players at some point in the season; especially in the League Cup ties as Martin Jol rests some of the senior squad members.
One To Watch - Tomas Pekhart
Tomas joined the club from Slavia Prague in 2006. After a short while adjusting to life in London; Pekhart has become a goal machine, scoring goals for fun in the reserves.

I am a diehard Yid that has now moved over to the rainy city of Seattle.
My wife is of Czech decent and her father keeps going on about Tomasz (not Tomas btw) Pekhart.
He is a real finisher that doesn't miss.
It would be wise to ship him out on loan though as I think he won't get a chance with our four strikers.
I haven't heard too much about Hughton though. Anyone know anything about the lad?
Josh
Harrison, Enfield
He's really agressive too.
R Jol
R Jol
He is a central midfielder that can put in a tackle if needed. He is the fastest player we have at the Lodge.
R Jol
Especially the forwards I can just see Jol giving a peckhert a run out ahead of 16 Million Chris Armstrong oh sorry I mean Bent. He always making the excuse our team is so young blah blah blah.
Take Arsenal as an example they sign up loads of kids some don’t ever play, some go on loan and never return, others play and stay in the team from the age of 17 upwards (cesc and Denilson two name just two). Our new signing Boatamg does not even make the bench at 20. Jol never wanted Kaboul he wanted someone with more experience, Young Phil Iffal has never had a chance, Bernard scored loads and loads in the reserves and never got a chance. The only player who has come through our youth system in years is Leadley King. Tommy Huddlestone only got his chance because of our terrible start last season and the fact we only replaced Carrick with Zakora who Jol never wanted.
Man u and Arsenal built their first teams out of yout…
since When?...he is still in hospital.
Dorian Dervite is still very much at Tottenham Hotspur. He got injured and went back to France for treatment, but is now back in training.
THBN
He looks like Gareth Bale's twin.
we have the youngest team in premier league
Bale, Lennon, Hud, dawson...
defoe, keane, berbatov, jenas, gadner are not old either.
Taraabt has played a few games already. Dervite played a game then injured..
This is a list of current players who came through the ranks at city
J Hart
K Schmeichel
R Dunne
M Richards
N Onuoha
S Ireland
M Johnson
The Tottenham list reads
L King
ok Who will Mills replace?...Dawson, Kaboul? or Rocha?
Dixon & Peckhart Banard replacing keane and Bebatov?
Ifil for Chimbonda?
Banard scored loads of goals in reserve...but Zilch when on loans.
Knowing that Jol will get slaughtered if he played this kids and lost....even in league cup games.
the fact is Spurs kids (from Spurs Academy)are good...but not good enough for premiership.
Arsenal kids are mostly free/cheap labour from French speaking African nations. Child exploitation.
Engliah not one of his strong points
But Tottenham have fininshed 5th for 2 years running and are still (yes still, check the odds) favourites to gatecrash the CL party.
Also just WHERE exactly have the Man Citeh youth players got them !?! hmmm
Oh and we have Robbo, Dawson, King, Chimbonda, Bale, Kaboul, Lennon, Keane, Defoe, Bent & BERBATOV !! to name but a few
If Citeh had these players then their YT players would struggle top break through too
So you can keep the Harts, Dunnes, Irelands & Johnsons thanks (all crap btw)
We'll take Micah Richards off you though!! top player
At least Ledley King is from London
Not one of the players you listed is ACTUALLY FROM MANCHESTER!!!!!
Putz
Oh, sorry, you mean the Michael Johnson 'footballer' NO-ONE has heard of....
...The Michael Johnson who graduated through the EVERTON YOUTH ACADEMY
Haha you muppett
Michael Johnson MY ARSE
Citeh to get relegated, and with Swen in charge, haha absolutely PRICELESS
you dirty northern monkey
Even if Spurs play shyte, it's an easy day at the office
Owned by a soon to be hanged corrupt ladyboy who has the dullest, tactically inept twat of a manager at the helm
yep, city will go places.......the coca cola league, where they belong
there must be something in the water oop norf, the dreamers
firstly Dunne came threw at everton, not city, u signed him when he was like 22.
and the reason u let players come through is just cos theres crap infront of them, and u hav a small squad.
the more (illegal) money that comes in from that chinese bloke, the less young players will come threw.
n btw, u cant reli count hart cos he never plays, im sure weve got some young keeper in our reserves aswell.
COYS
Joe Hart didnot come through the citeh youth ranks
Neither did Michael Johnson
Neither did Richard Dunne
and Neither did MICAH RICHARDS
I would suggest some better research next time if you dont want to look like a cunt, just like 5:40pm
