Great News for Cyprus Spurs Supporters!
Spurs will play Anorthosis in the first round tie of the UEFA Cup with the first game being played at White Hart Lane (Thursday, September 20th) and the return leg in Larnaca, Cyprus, at the Antonis Papadopoulos stadium (Thursday, October 4th). This news has come as a great surprise for many Spurs fans living in sunny Cyprus.
We've had the privilege of interviewing Akis Chrysostomou, the vice-chairman of the CSSC (Cyprus Spurs Supporters Club).
"We are ecstatic in having Spurs visit Cyprus in the second leg of the UEFA Cup, when they will face Anorthosis FC.
We will wait for Anorthosis FC to decide if they will use the vastly bigger and better equipped GSP National Football Stadium in Nicosia, rather than their own smaller Antonis Papadopoulos stadium in Larnaca.
We will apply for an allocation of tickets to satisfy our members demands and we will seek to arrange welcoming parties at the airport and Hotel of the THFC squad.
An information network will be in place for all the travelling fans requiring assistance. Our chairman, Chris Christou, will outline all delegated duties and make the Cyprus experience, for both the team and the supporters, as pleasant and memorable as possible.
In Cyprus we have a large number of ex-patriots and locals that follow Spurs, and this will be a unique opportunity for some to experience the delight of watching our beloved Spurs live in Cyprus."

I hope we're playing tougher sides in the Champions League next season.
Email the address sighted in the article and maybe the CSSC can assist you in finding cheaper deals.

To me, these are waste of time matches and Spurs should be given a bye to the next round.
Someone said the capactity at this ground (assuming it even has grass) it 9,000
If that is the case, where are all the home fans going to sit?
fuck off. ur just a silly prick. there are loads and loads of faithful spurs fans in cyprus, and im one of em. what u moaning for? if u dont wanna come, DONT. Watch it on ITV4 and Channel 5 like we have to every week.
The ground that will host the game is 99% to be GSP Stadium in Nicosia. Anorthosis' home ground isnt permitted to host 1st round proper games. So it will be moved there. The GSP satdium holds around 24000, so it should be big enough.
Come on CSSC!! Lets make Spurs proud!

I can't make it as I'll be on the Northern side.
The 2nd leg tie move to the GSP will be confirmed on Thursday.
