Spurs are not interested in Marco Materazzi

We can report that Tottenham Hotspur are not interested in bringing Marco Materazzi to the club.

The Italian International, most famous for his Oscar performance in the Zidane scene of the World Cup, will be leaving Inter Milan this close season. He will be joining either Juventus or Parma in a £1 million move.

Spurs are very interested in West Brom's, Curtis Davies, although a move for the talented defender may be scuppered if Kaboul is to sign this week.

Moves to sign Swedish International, Christian Wilhemsson, are pure agent talk. It is true that Spurs manager, Martin Jol, had been interested in the right winger, but cooled his interest when Aaron Lennon signed from Leeds.

Our search for a left-winger still continues, with Morten Gamst Pedersen and Petrov leading the race.
