Jol In For Richardson
Manchester United have allowed Kieran Richardson to leave the club for £3 million.
The left winger broke into the England team on the America tour at the end of the season and produced some amazing displays.
The young Londoner has been on loan at West Brom since January, and it was thought that Bryan Robson wanted to make the deal permanent.
Richardson still has all his family in London and would prefer a move down south. Bryan Robson has stated that he will persuade Kieran to change his mind and sign a for the midlands club.
As yet, Spurs are keeping tight-lipped about their interest.

But once again we will not bid and will not sign a wizard in the making......
he will go to West Brom for sure
Sources?
Come on lad - you can't pull the wool over our eyes with this one.
The bigger boys would hassle him and that would be that.
Enough said. Just because I have a source, doesn't always mean that it'll happen.
I would like to know who the source is on this!
Once Chris tells me its happening I will believe it until then..
Hurry up Jol.. AJ & Downing are waiting and as for JJ we can only hope (spurs are currently the bigger team and will be in 3 yrs or so think about JJ!!)
I doubt Man U would let their ready made giggs replacement leave though??
In fact be surprised if Spurs sign anyone else in this window! 1 Possibility of a striker coming in.
Andy Reid or Kieron Richardson
such a hard choice
1 is fat and cant beat a player
the other is quick skillful and can beat players
hmmm......
His waste is sponsored by Michelin.
Reid is actually one of the fittest players in the premiership. get your facts right ffs !
Wake up...he's not available!
does it matter if a player uses pace or vision ?
as long as he is effective then im happy
3million for gardner spent on richardson is good.
reid is a fat wanker.
atouba also is a wanker.
anyone ever watch a Spurs game?
who says we are getting 3m for Gardener?? that includes bonuses for things like him lifting the word cup as england captain etc you muppet.
chicks like you who slag off our own players are a discgrace to the club

sounds like you should give a try mate, reid is a great player.
I would like to see a target man come in first whos gonna win the ball up front...and of course more reliable than Freddie.
The point he was trying to make is that there are plenty of tossers posting shit on here, YOU including cuntchops. So fuck off and stop playing at being hard. We ALL know you type. Hard at keyboard, can't back it up in real life. You sad sad cunt.
most crosses are converted by foot.
and most headers are scored from corners and free kicks usually by centre backs.
having pacey wingers/good crossers does not mean we need a huge man up front although of course it is sometimes a advantage, it means we need sharp finishers.
playing the long ball requires a big man .
anyone agree
carlton cole quick as fuck but as shit as they come.
this is why our scouts are not hanging around athletic tracks all day recruiting county sprinters.
pace is a bonus not a essential.
reid or z on left jenas centre with carrick and routledge will do me. Need some one with strength up front, who scores V would have been goon but like all good Italians he's switched sides. Never thought Gardners to bad, could be wrong Dawson seems promising.
I'm not writing the kid off though, it might have just been an off game plus it is a big step up from the championship. I'll give him, and all the other spurs recruits made since summer 2004, a fair crack of the whip, I have my favourite players but I'm not going to abuse those that aren't.
Seen so much written on this (and other sites) about needing this or that player, speculating over everything, really very amusing due to its futility - worth a laugh to read every now and then. All that I would say is that our squad size is now HUGE, no…
There is one rumour worth listening to though...... I've heard that Barca rejects Saviola and Riquelme are on their way to WHL for a joint £14m. Both spent last season on loan away from Camp Nou and neither feature in the managers plans for the coming campaign. Levy has spoken with Joan Laporta over a deal to bring the Argentine duo to the lane - and the attacking midfielder and pacey striker appear keen to become the new Ardiles and Villa. Martin Jol has apparently targeted a striker to replace Newcastle-bound Robbie Keane and a creative, goal-scoring midfielder
if anyone knows anythign about football andy reid is one of the fittest in the premier lasting out much longer on bleep test then anybody other then ledley king at our club, as for richardson LOOK if fergie is getting rid of him he really cannot be that good now can he????? jus…
Get a creative CM and a strong target man and our team will be complete. Jeez look at Bolton and Everton; Everton sell their best two players in Rooney and Gravesen and manage to finish 4th.
To all you half-witted cnuts bitching before the season starts, I say get behind your damn team this season, wnankers. Otherwise 8th place awaits....
Please if you do try, don't even mention Atouba
Kelly, King, Naybet, Edman
Routledge, Davis, Carrick, Reid
Defoe, Kanoute
in my opinion that is the best 11 we could put out.
and before you all start with yer gay 3-5-2 formations etc .
jol doesnt play it he plays 4-4-2.
ill be interested to see other views , but please only include players you have actually seen play or youll only be expressing views based on what you read on google profiles or whatever. worth feck all in my opinion. so dont bother with salteri or teemu unless youve seen em play.pleeeeease
also, i very much liked the look of dawson in defence. I think he'll be 1st choice, at least going into second half of season.
apologies for lack of capitals and any form of english grammer, i've had a few beers
Kelly Dawson King Edman
Routledge Carrick Reid Ziegler
Defoe Kanute
woooow there !!! no im not saying that lol one step at a time !!! progress thats all im asking for lol
10.49 said"hey i agree with above team. however, i'm a big fan of mendes" me too its a tough choice between the two .
in fact thats why i believe some fans dont like carrick , he breaks up the mendes davis partnership we all liked so much.
as for dawson over naybet im not so sure . yeah dawson has done well in the few games hes played but naybet has been fantastic when hes played and i dont think we should unerestimate the experience he brings to our very young and inexperienced team. Invaluable in my opinion at true leader.
dawson WILL take his spot eventualy though
especially the strawberry ones
11:07 PM
so just because a few of us prefer Reid at the moment makes us wankers does it??
what happened to the right to an opinion???
and wheer is my quality street
and why am i wasting everyones time with this meaningless bollocks
anderton , redknapp, poyet , zeige
sure in their day they were fantatsic but by last season they were all aging and injury prone, when they did play they hardly bloody ran.
compare to
Routledge, Davis, Mendes, Zeigler
simply a example of what we can field but the dynamism and tackling of the above midfield knocks spots off the old one .
we have come on leaps and bounds in just one short season.
one year ago we were a aging squad of has beens with a few bright hopes , now we have a young squad of internationals and decent prospects plus a useful coach
i call that progress
kelly king naybet/dawson
stalteri reid carrick davis routledge defoe kanoute
that is our best team imo.i would also like to see reto at left back.think reid will come good once he adjusts.i think dawson will end up with a lot more games than naybet. i am worried about our wings with lack of experience. last of all i think keane will go because he wont sign contract so we need to replace him.
Its kanoute thats leaving not Keane.
You one of these ITK types that start endless dross rumours?
Robinson
Pamarot,Dawson,King,Edman
Routledge,Carrick,Tainio,Reid
Kanoute,Keane
that would be my team as it stands, still think keane offers the team more as a whole then defoe who is an individual player a great one but te…
Spurs are reportedly considering the possibility of letting Defoe go with the deal giving them a proven premiership scorer and quality exciting winger as well as bolstering Jol's transfer kitty to a whopping 25million. this would be further bolstered by the sales of Kanoute (5mill) to Man City, Keane (6mill) to Newcastle, Gardner (1.5mill) to Charlton and Brown (2.5mill) to West Ham.
Jol is keen on the deal and hopes to appease fans fury by signing three other quality names......Jenas from Newcastle (8mill), Johnson from Palace (10mill), and bridge from Chelsea (4mill).
To summarise:
In - Richardson (part exchange), Saha (part exchange), Jenas (8mill), Johnson (10mill), Bridge (4mill) - TO…
We need a free scoring mid fielder, al a Van Bommell, Gerrard, Lampard, but there ain't too many of these guys around. May be Becks might come back now he's done the trick with London & the Olympics.
He's looked like a worldbeater in the reserves, dribbling past everyone and scoring some stunning goals, but he's always disappointed for the first team.
He's lightweight and often loses the ball trying to go on a mazy dribble. The problem with Richardson has always been that he's a head-down dribbler - he doesn't have good awareness when he's running at players, and often runs into deadends.
Even his matches in the US, okay, he scored the two goals on his debut, but what about his all-round play? He's a winger, but did he beat a man in that match? He took the goals well, but didn't do anything productive apart from that.
In fact, United fans are hoping the two goals on his England debut and all the hype that it created will bump up his tranfer fee!
He's h…
