Fredi To Return To Our Feeder Club?

British tabloid, The Sun, has reported that West Ham manager Alan Pardew, has tabled a bid of around £4 million for Spurs Mali international striker Fredi Kanoute.

Kanoute is also apparently Manchester City’s top target, and so West Ham’s initial offer could start a bidding war between the two clubs.

Manchester City have no money and so will have to sell before they can buy. Shaun Wright-Phillips will certainly move on to Chelsea or Arsenal, freeing up the cash for City manager Stuart Pearce to make his move for Kanoute.

This for me is fantastic news (if it’s true that is).

Fredi Kanoute is a truly gifted player. Many of us have seen him play, create opportunities, and score some fantastic goals. But how often does the real Kanoute show up? Not nearly enough!

If we can get £4 million for him, then I feel that now is the time to sell.

What do you think?
