Tottenham may be hours away from signing Leeds promising youngster Aaron Lennon.

The Yorkshire club need the cash to sign defender Dan Harding from Brighton.

Reports from sources at Leeds United suggest a £1 million deal will be smoothed through today.

Lennon, an 18-year-old gifted left-winger, is rated as one of the most exciting prospects in the British game at the moment, which would be why Leeds fans are once again furious at the fact that yet again one of their star players is set to leave.

Tottenham purchased Paul Robinson for a bargain £1.5 million in the summer of 2004, a move which disgusted the Leeds fans as now Robinson is England's number one keeper and has more than added 1,000% to his transfer value.
