Robbinson Upset With Arnesen

England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has conceded that Frank Arnesen's behaviour has disappointed Tottenham's players.

Arnesen has decided to quit White Hart Lane for Chelsea - where he will take up a similar role to that which he enjoyed at Spurs as a sporting director.

The Dane's proposed switch from North to West London has not been well received and Robinson has now spoken of his own disappointment.

''All the lads feel let down by Frank going and the way he did it,'' Robinson told The Sun.

''I was very disappointed when I heard.

''He had been telling everyone he would take Spurs onto great things. The next thing you know he has gone.

''I don't think any of us saw it coming at all and I can understand why the chairman is upset.

''It's like one of those really big transfers which comes as a complete surprise.

''But Martin Jol will make sure we don't lose focus. This will not deflect him from his targets.

''The club will be fine without Frank. The world hasn't come to an end and the players still have the belief that good times are around the corner.''
