How come nobody talks about the situation before Ferdinand hacked the ball of the line? That was the clearest penalty/red card-situation I ever saw. Just because Berbatov was able to get up and tried to persue the ball afterwards, doesn't mean that it wasn't a foul. When the ball didn't go in and i.e. the advantage was gone, the ref should have given the penalty and sent Vidic off. Ha was nowhere near the ball, no matter if he fell over Berb of threw himself over him intentionally. Shocking! The Brown incident right afterwards was less clear in my opinion, and would never be given at Old Trafford. I wonder how many points United have gained over the years because of gutless refs.

Robie Keane was sent off againts Bolton and Bolton were awarded a penalty kick when the ball clearly strucked his chest from a close range header. Much less obvious than waht happend to Brown.

Penalties was awarded when the ball strucked Dawson's arm from a close range drive, but a similar but more blatant handball by Terry was unpunished...all of these were at WHL...

I have watched the video of the so called penalty frame by frame, and believe me, it was not a penalty. It clearly hit Brown's chest/side area. So at the end of the day, United won, Spurs lost, end of story.
