What makes you think they would want to come to us?? We don't pay top wages and we are not in the CL you do the maffs..! As Spurs fans I sometimes think we could do ourselves a favour and have a quick reality check sometimes, we have progressed very well over the last couple of years, but have now made the big investment but oon players who are not proven - yet but I back Jol to get it right, but lets not hang him if we fail to break into the top 4 as as mentioned above 3 or 4 other teams have strengthened there first team on the pitch, I dont bleive our first 11 will be any differnet from the end of last season when fit..

From Levy's point of view, he has a manager who is ok but not brilliant, who has said he would like to manage the Dutch national team which job will be available at the end of the season and for which Jol appears to be the leading candidate, and Jol knows that this is the season he has to deliver or he coud be pushed out.

So does Levy sit on his hands until we see how things go at the end of the season, or does he actively look for possible successors to avoid a panic situation in May next year?

I think Levy is right to sound out the possibilities now, in case we need a new manager,. either by Jol leaving or needing to be replaced. However, the idea was right, but the execution very poor which maybe due more to the abilities of other less responsible Board members than Levy's management.

If the details of the Ramos affair had stayed behind closed doors, Jol leads us to another winless season with the accompanying dire performances which are his current trademark, and then Levy unveils Ramos ready to take over in May, most people, except for the blind Jol is God brigade would have said what a great Chairman...as it is he has been made to appear stupid. But for my money he was doing what is right for the Club.

If spurs end up with no left winger after the window shuts, then I think Comoli, Levy and Jol need a boot up the backside because everyone knows we have needed a left winger for well over 3 seasons and we still don't have one

I am so frustrated withe spurs right now. YES we started badly and YES we still need to strengthen in some areas of the team but instead of concentrating on that the board have made us a laughing stock.
Does anyone know what is going on with the taylor situation. I read somewhere that the board have said no to him. Surely this can't be true ???.

How can we forget what the club are doing? We're not bloody robots that have a switch that we can flick on/off at our pleasure.

Get your facts straight before commenting and writing an article.

The club did meet with Ramos and offer him a huge contract. They were going to sack Jol. They also met with other managers.

The only reason that they are releasing this bullshit to us now, is because no other manager wanted to come to us.

How can we forget what they've done? They've completely unsettled the side. God only knows what our players think and feel right now.

Firstly, Spurs officials DID meet with Juande Ramos and secondly, the statement released by Levy IS as you might say, a dreaded vote of confidence.
