Juan Foyth and Vicente del Bosque reveals England's problem

Pochettino has high hopes for Juan Foyth

Juan Foyth

Leeds United will make a loan move for 20-year-old (21 next January) Argentinian centre-back Juan Foyth once Marcelo Biesla and his backroom staff are appointed at the Yorkshire club.

I'm not sure whether some are talking about him having no future at Spurs, when you consider his age and look at his performances last season, he isn't ready for Premier League football yet. A season-long loan seems a sensible idea to give him some game time.

England

Wotld Cup winning manager Vicente del Bosque has said that England's problem is that we have no system of play at international level and he is quite right.

Regular readers will remember me suggesting this is what Spurs needed, with a group of young players to develop together, after Basel played us off the park at White Hart Lane. Since then Mauricio Pochettino has come along with a system based on young players and our fortunes have been turned around.

England needs a set system, where you train each individual the system and then how to play their role within that system, again something I have been saying for years. As a coach it is obvious and clearly, Vicente del Bosque sees it the same way.

We shouldn't ignore winners, he turned around Spain, now we need someone to do the same with England, only we look slow laboured and the players look unsure of what they are supposed to do. We struggle against virtually all opposition.

Read del Bosque.
