  1. I think when we footy fans start to speculate and soak-up the many possibilities that we would like to see arrive in the close season we need to balance opinion with reality.
    So here goes...
    Firstly let's make the assumption that Alderweireld, Dembele, Rose, Llorente & Jansen will depart to seek fresh pastures...
    Since our two substitute strikers have featured so rarely there doesn't seem any point in discussing their possible replacement..over to you Poch on that one...
    What does concern me is the potential loss of Dembele & Rose, two natural left-footed players which leaves us with Jan, Ben & Erik who are lefties.
    Erik doesn't feature on our left side which maybe the reason that Lucas was playing there against Leicester...
    So we (don't) may have no (natural) cover for Jan or Ben...Fulham gaining promotion to the EPL could have taken Sessegnon out of our reach also.
    What we do have is a plethora of (natural) right-sided players, in all positions, so the potential…

      Shame we don't have another Glenda coming through the ranks. You couldn't tell which was his stronger foot. Not a powerhouse stopper TBF, so maybe a little off-topic, but wouldn't it be glorious to see his like again at The Lane?
