Spurs continue to monitor the progress of 19-year-old (20 in November) Celtic and Scotland Under-21 right-back Anthony Ralston, who is under contract until 2022 and we following young Georgian talent, but who else have we been scouting lately?

Spurs Scouting Trip - Carles Aleñá


Spurs sent a scout to watch Cordoba vs Barcelona B on February 4th. Last season Tottenham were linked to 20-year-old (21 next January) Barcelona B and Spanish Under-19 international central midfielder Carles Aleñá.

We were interested in signing him and at the time he had a buyout cause of £2.64 million (€3m), however, he signed a new three-year contract. Barcelona also inserted another two year option and a £66.02 million (€75m) buyout clause.

Born in Mataró, Spain he stands 1.80m (5ft 11in) tall, he made his debut against Celtic last season. he played 3 games in LaLiga and scored a goal.

Spurs Scouting Trip - Jean Seri and Malang Sarr


Tottenham, Barcelona, Manchester United, Juventus, PSG, Chelsea, Marseille and Inter Milan were among 20 clubs who sent scouts to the Allianz Riviera to watch the Nice v Lokomotiv Moscow UEFA Europa League tie.

Despite reports, such as the one recently in the Sun, inside sources say Manchester United are not interested in 20-year-old (21 in July) Ivory Coast and Nice central midfielder Jean Seri....but they continue to watch Nice. Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with him.

If his international teammate Serge Aurier could just have a word in his shell like for us as his contract ends in 2019.

At the same game clubs were also watching his teammate and French Under-21 international 19-year-old (20 next January) centre-back Malang Sarr, whose contract runs out in 2021.


Spurs Scouting Trip - Issa Diop and Alban Lafont

Tottenham, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Arsenal watched Toulouse lose 1-0 to PSG recently. Suggestions are the clubs were watching French Under-21 international and Toulouse centre-back 21-year-old (22 next January) Issa Diop, who is under contract until 2020.

There is also interest in French Under-20 and Toulouse goalkeeper Alban Lafont, who is under contract until 2020 and particularly interests Arsenal.
