Tottenham Hotspur and Everton sent scouts to watch the Scotland Under-21 side beat the Holland Under-21 team 2-0 on Tuesday 5th September at Paisley 2021 Stadium, Paisley in the UEFA EURO U-21 First qualifying round.

The scouts were watching 18-year-old (19 in November) right-back Celtic Anthony Ralston who was making his debut for the national Under-21 side after appearing 6 times for the Scotland Under-19 team.

He has played 4 games this season, 2 in the Scottish Premiership, 1 in the second leg of a UEFA Champions League Qualifying round tie against FC Astana. he came as a substitute and played 33 minutes on the right of midfield.

He was on the bench for the first leg and also for the third qualifying round game at home against Norwegian side Rosenburg from Trondheim, who have won the Eliteserien 24 times.

There is speculation that he could be picked tonight to play in the first game of the group stages of the UEFA Champions League against french giants Paris Saint-Germain, where he would probably have to mark Brazilian star and former Barcelona striker, Neymar.
