Dele not a Barca target, Angel di Maria, Nacer Chadli

TRANSFER TALK

The Daily Express are certainly coming up with some stories, unfortunately that doesn't mean they are true. The story about Barcelona wanting Dele Alli to replace Neymar is new to the Spanish press, or to put it another way is a complete load of BS.

Now they have come up with Tottenham wanting to make a £35 million (€38.77m - AUS$57.57m - US$45.64m) bid for 29-year-old (30 next February) Argentinian international and Manchester United Premier League flop Angel Di Maria. Fortunately they are just repeating a suggestion from another journalist who has never coached a football team, Guardian journalist Gregg Bakowski.

Tony Pulis, it seems, regularly falls out with players or club chairman and the situation is not exactly rosy between him and 28-year-old (29 next August) former Tottenham winger Nacer Chadli.

Under contract until 2020 the Belgian international is wanted by Swansea City, who it is believed are willing to pay £15 million (€16.01m - AUS$24.7m - US$19.57m), but WBA have told them he is not for sale. He missed the clubs pre-season training camp in Austria and talks with Pulis but has played subsequently for them in a friendly in Hing Kong.
