Schick, Foyth, Forlan news

A quick snippet. The problem with the Partick Schick transfer from Sampdoria to Juventus is an inflammation of the hart. We await developments.

There are differing reports on Juan Foyth, but all seem to think the deal is going to go through. Does he have an EU passport or does he need a work permit? Reports from Argentina suggest his representatives are working on getting a work permit.

They also suggest we have offered £5.37 million (€6.05m - AUS$8.84m - US$7m) with a further £2.3 million (€2.59m - AUS$3.79m - US$3m) of add-ons while his Argentinian side Estudiantes are said to want the amount in one guaranteed payment. Add-ons are only payable if certain conditions are met such as number of games played.

The head scout of Norwegian side Sandefjord has confirmed the club are trying to sign 38-year-old (39 next may) former Uruguay and Manchester United striker Diego Forlán, who is said to be open to a move to Norway. Clearly he loves just playing football.
