Transfer Talk - Seri, Alves and Rodriguz

TRANSFER TALK

The 25-year-old (26 in July) Ivorian international (he has 12 full international caps scoring 1 goal) midfielder Jean Michaël Seri has agreed to join Italian side AS Roma on a 4-year deal.

He spent 2 seasons in Ligue 1 with Nice and will depart for a fee of around £19.4 million (€22m - AUS$32.28m - US$24.48m), not the figures that were being bandied about by our press. The fee is lower because he doesn't have an EU passport.

Manchester City have offered trophy-laden former 34-year-old (35 next May) Barcelona right-back Dani Alves a two-year contract worth £4.41 million (€5m - AUS$7.34m - US$5.56m) per year.

WBA are pushing hard for former Tottenham target Kay Rodriguez. The 27-year-old (28 in July)English international (he has 1 full international cap) doesn't seem to have hit the heights he was at before he suffered his Cruciate Ligament rupture that lasted 413 days. He played just 881 minutes of Premier League football this season.
