Transfer Talk: Alvara (Monday), Costa, Ronaldo

TRANSFER TALK

I am reading on Twitter that several sources have revealed that Manchester United and Alvaro Morata have agreed personal terms. This isn't several independent sources independently finding out this information as is implied, it is one source suggesting this is the case and everyone else copying that source.

Radio station Onda Cero are reporting that Morata will sign a 5 year deal for a fee of £64.10 million (€73m - AUS$108.54m - US$81.73m) and will travel to Manchester on Monday.
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has asked the club to secure the services of Bayern Munich winger and Tottenham Hotspur target Douglas Costa. While our press have been bigging up a move to Spurs, I have realistically maintained his destination will be the Italians.

The two clubs have a very good working relationship. Juventus will tie up the Patrick Schick deal shortly and send him straight back to Sampdoria on loan and are waiting on the German side securing the services of Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez before the Germans will release Costa.

Spanish newspaper AS lead with the story that Real Madrid have received a £175.62 million (€200m - AUS$297.36m - US$223.91m) bid from a team in China for 32-year-old (33 next February) striker Cristiano Ronaldo. The 2016 UEFA European Championships winner been offered £105.37 million (€120m - AUS$178.42m - US$134.35m) a year salary.

That equates to a weekly salary of £3.03 million.
