Spurs scouting young English winger

TRANSFER TALK

Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Everton are said by the Daily Mail to be showing an interest in 16-year-old England youth international winger Max Broughton.

Broughton made 5 starts for the Bolton Wanderers Under-18 side this season and scored one goal. He was first spotted playing local football for Rossendale United (The Stags), a club based in Newchurch, near Rawtenstall, Lancashire.

The club was formed in 1898 but was expelled from the North West Counties League Premier Division on 18 June 2011 and they have a ground capacity of 2,550. Plans for a new club were abandoned in 2012.

After a trial in October 2014, he was given a scholarship which he signed in December 2015. he has continued to attract the attention of scouts since. This is the second time we have been said to be scouting him, but plenty will be, you can't hide on the international stage.
