Spurs interest in 7 goal 11 assist inverted right winger

TRANSFER TALK

Spanish daily publication Marca have reported that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is very keen on Spanish Under-21 international (he has 5 full international caps) attacking midfielder Suso.

The 1.77m (5' 9") tall 23-year-old (24 in November) left-footed, Nike sponsored AC Milan player can also operate as an inverted right winger and indeed spent most of this season there, where in 30 appearances he had 6 goals and 8 assists. In all competitions, in all positions, he scored 7 goals and had 11 assists in the same 37 games.

This isn't the first time we have been linked with him, unsurprising given we have regularly scouted him. Why some are calling it a shock when it is persistently in the Spanish press and is repeated over here, I don't know.

His contract is up in 2019 and he is yet to sign an extension which is interesting ourselves, Roma and Napoli. He is currently recovering from injury.

The England Under-21 boys won 3-0 against host nation Poland at the 2017 UEFA U-21 European Championships to head into the semi-final. The England youth teams have been doing well this year.

England's Youth 2017:

U17 Euros: Runners Up 🥈 U18-20 Toulon: Winners 🥇 U20 World Cup: Winners 🏆 U21 Euros: Semi-finals

Good luck to the lads.
