The Korea Herald are reporting that Son Heung-min has left hospital after surgery on the forearm the 24-year-old (25 in July) broke while playing for South Korea in a World Cup qualifier they lost to Qatar.

After an operation last Friday on his right arm he was discharged from hospital on Tuesday. He will have to attend the hospital again for further treatment. It will take 2 weeks for his bones to realign bfore the cast can be removed. Sonny could be out for up to 12 weeks and he'll have to rest for a month which will put him behind in pre-season training.

It looks like we will be missing Erik Lamela, Danny Rose and Son Heung-min to start the season away to Newcastle United before we take on Chelsea in our first home game at Wembley. Clearly he is going to miss the pre-season tour to take part in the International Champions Cup in the USA in July.
