No bids for Morata and N'Koudou stupidity

Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has told the Spanish media (Onda Cero and Radio MARCA) that they have received no offers from Manchester United, or any other club, for 24-year-old (25 in October) striker Álvaro Morata
"There have been no offers for Ronaldo by anyone - Morata and James as well. We think these players are all good after a great season. If there is anything to do, it will be done in time."
Different reports report different guesses as to the fee Real Madrid are seeking for Morata, they range from between £52.72 - £79.08 million ( €60 - 90m - AUS$87.91 - 137.81m - US$66.96 - 100.44m).

Perez told Onda Cero that "No one at the club wants Morata to leave and I haven't heard the player asking to leave."

Georges-Kevin N'Koudou is plastered over the Internet wearing a Chelsea shirt. It matters. He is employed by Tottenham Hotspur and he shouldn't be wearing the shirt of a rival, especially a bitter rival. h has a duty to his employer and he has a duty to the club sponsors.

Why do you think people in all sports ensure they have sponsors logos in shot when being interviewed? You'll always see a golfer put his hat on with the sponsor on it. As a Tottenham player he has a duty to promote the club and it's sponsors in the best possible light, wearing a hated rivals shirt isn't intelligent, especially when you have been a complete flop at a club so far.

People in the spotlight get paid huge sums of money and with that comes responsibility, a responsibility to the children for whom they are hero's, a responsibility to an employer, a responsibility to sponsors and a responsibility to the fans. That should be drummed into every players, so whoever is responsible for ensuring a player is aware of that hasn't done their job properly.

  1. I hope his football intelligence is a great deal more impressive than his common sense. That level of stupidity is really hard to believe. If Michy were wearing a Spurs shirt then you could almost believe they were just stupid - but Michy isn't really stupid at all. Not much of a friend either, to make a sucker of GK.
