Ipswich Town youngster Zak Brown scored for Tottenham Hotspur at the tournament we are playing in San Diego, USA which is being screened on TV in the States

Earlier I brought you news of Ben Knight playing for us at an Under-15 tournament, I understand he has agreed a deal with Ipswich Town to continue his development there.

In addition to Ben Knight, guesting for us on the trip are Zak Brown, Nyan Mesuria and Liam Gibbs.

The Ipswich Town academy head of coaching and player development, Bryan King, was assistant academy director and head of player development at Spurs prior to returning to Ipswich Town in 2012. We therefore have a good working relationship with the Championship club.

The USA recently beat England Under-15's at the Torneo Delle Nazioni in Italy with Mexico beating Portugal for third place.

It is becoming increasing more difficult for Eredivisie clubs to buy players with transfer fees skyrocketing. Manchester City and Real Madrid have just bid £113.58 million (€130m - AUS$195.18m - US$145.39m) for 18-yar-old (19 in December) striker Kylian Mbappe of Monaco.

PSV general manager Toon Gerbrands has told the media that PSV have held positive talks with Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Chelsea about working together to develop players clubs buy that they can then loan to PSV to develop. Full story at the link below.
