Quite remarkably, three players at Tottenham Hotspur Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min have scored more goals combined than the entire Manchester United squad!

Manchester United have 43 Premier League goals this season whereas Harry Kane (19), Dele Alli (16) and Son Heung-min (11) have scored 46 between them.

Sonny really should have scored a hat-trick, he had a golden chance put on a plate for him but somehow managed to put it wide by a yard, it wasn't even close with only the goalkeeper to beat. Players around the pitch held their heads so they know the South Korean wants a Premier League hat-trick to go with his FA Cup hat-trick against Millwall. When you are not the main striker these chances don't come around very often so you have to be clinical and grab your chance when it comes.

Vincent Janssen echoed memories of Roberto Soldado somehow managing to miss from a couple of yards when he tried to bundle the ball over the line. His mind looked confused, he didn't seem to know what to do and is clearly desperate for that first Premier League goal from open play to go in. A confident striker would have adjusted his body position and tapped it in, Janssen didn't and simply let the ball hit him as he tried at that instant to turn it towards goal.

He started the game so got more game time under his belt. We had a lost of these players in the summer of 2013, all of whom struggled in their first season, some in their second too. Mauricio Pochettino has sold players after a year if he thinks they can't make it or are a disruptive influence so we'll have to see what he does in the summer.

he is a player you want to succeed but football is a ruthless business and if you want to be successful then excuses and sentiment can play not part in decision making. We are clearly after signing another striker which would severely affect his chances of getting sufficient game time.
