Still looking to buy a striker in the summer

TRANSFER TALK

Image result for Kazaiah Sterling

Considering he has articles in the Huffingtom Post, I'm amazed that the author of American blog Playing for 90 suggests the addition of Kazaiah Sterling to first team training could change our transfer thinking. It won';t.

He is training with the first team to learn, nothing more. He isn't suddenly a first team player, just as Marcus Edwards isn't suddenly a first team player, he has been training with the senior squad all season, as has Cameron Carter-Vickers.

People do love toi go over the top. Josh Onomah has been training with the first team, Georges-Kevin N'Koudou has been training with the first team, Pau Lopez too. They are all young and all learning their craft, learning our system, their place in it and what everyone else's role is within it. That takes time.

Vincent Janssen may be young, but he is a Dutch international who has far more experience than Sterling, who has none at all. His inclusion won't change a thing, he is a player for the future and needs developing, we will still be looking to buy a striker in the summer.
