No rest for Son Heung-min

BURNLEY vs SPURS

Son Heung-min played 90 minutes for South Korea in their 1-0 home victory over Syria at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. The game was part of the Asian section of the World Cup qualifying games.

The result sees South Korea remain in second place on 13 points in their group behind Iran who have 17 points and ahead of Uzbekistan in third on 12 points.

The journey time from Seoul to London is 12 hours and there are three flights a day. Son usually gets back to Tottenham a day after everyone else on Thursday and thus has less training time. We play Burnley on Saturday afternoon and with Harry Kane injured Son may well be pressed into service.

Vincent Jansen is an option, but he pulled out of the Holland squad with an illness so it isn't known yet whether he will be fit for Saturday afternoon or not.

Burnley are a tough nut to crack at Turf Moor, they are currently the 6th best team in the country on their own patch with 29 points gained from 9 victories, 2 draws and 3 losses. That is the same points tally as Arsenal.
