Mahmoud Dahoud likely to snub the Premier League for Borussia Dortmund

TRANSFER TALK

Is it a bird, is it a plane, no it's Mahmoud Dahoud

Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal from the Premier League have long been linked with 21-year-old (22 next January) German Under-21 international (6 caps) central midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud.

He is currently playing for Borussia Mönchengladbach but a report in Kicker suggests Borussia Dortmund are the clear favourites to land his signature during the summer for £8.69 million (€10m - AUS$13.99m - US$10.80m) as he has a release clause in his contract, which was revealed by SportBild last summer.

We are known to have had informal conversations with him and nobody will give up hope. He will have his choice of top European clubs with sides in Italy and Spain watching him as well. His contract ends in 2018 and it is thought he will decide his future in the next couple of weeks.

The links to us have gone quiet and it looks unlikely that the box-to-box midfielder will be moving to White Hart Lane at the season's end.
