Kane Injury

The unnecessary risk we shouldn't have taken backfired and Harry Kane got injured within 7 minutes. What does that mean for our season now, well we don't know yet.

Spurs fans, indeed opposition fans. notably Liverpool and Arsenal fans, have been waiting for the results of a scan due to be performed today. Earlier in the day I mentioned that scan could only be done if  the swelling had gone down sufficiently.

Unfortunately it hasn't and although he received some treatment, no scan was done today. The hope is the swelling subsides and he can have one tomorrow.

Our next game is on Sunday 19 March at 2:15 pm against Southampton at White Hart Lane, where Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min will have to step up to the plate and deliver goals.

After that game we are fortunate to have an international break, although it is likely to wear out Son Heung-min and Victor Wanyama, although he has been a stalwart in our midfield this season.

  1. After the game against Wycombe I'm not sure I agree playing Harry was a risk better avoided. I suspect he, and we, were just very unlucky. As we have been most of the season TBF.

It will test the attitude of the remaining players, certainly. Let's hope they come up trumps this time.
