Liverpool, founded on 3 June 1892, play Tottenham Hotspur, founded in 1882 as Hotspur FC in the late kick-off game today, due to being shown live on BT Sport 1 and on the radio with BBC Radio London.

Spurs have conceded just seven goals in the Premier League from open play in 24 matches, the lowest in the league as well as conceding the fewest goals. Our total of 50 points at this stage of the season is only bettered by our Double Winning 1960/61 season.

Today my calculations show there is a 76% chance of the game seeing 2 or more goals scored and a 56% chance of 3 or more. I rate our chances of scoring a goal at 56%. To me this looks like a 0-0 at half-time game and draw at full-time..

  1. way to sit on the fence . I back spurs to win 3-1 . a draw is no good to us so we need to fly out of the blocks early get the first couple of goals then just sit back a little bit and hit them on the break very fast ....COYS
  2. This game is hard to call BECAUSE the teams are so evenly matched away at Anfield. We didn't manage a win at home, but I feel we were unlucky on the day. The ref gave two faulty decisions which led directly to both of their goals. At their home they will be harder to beat.

    I think it makes perfect sense, considering all we know, to predict a draw. Almost everybody has as far as I've seen. I certainly expect our boys to go there for the win though. It's not inconceivable by any stretch of the imagination, but it won't be easy there. That's a given.

    This is our hardest game left on paper. We have a chance to put pressure on Chelsea. I'm looking forward to the game.
