Tottenham and Arsenal both keen on 22-year-old (23 in March) German forward Maximilian Philipp who plays for SC Freiburg. Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen have had a long standing interest in him.
A report from SportBild, a German newspapers sports publication suggests both Tottenham and North London neighbours Arsenal and 'in hot pursuit'. The youngster is highly rated, but then isn't everybody, and a £4 million value has been suggested, although it was pointed out should either of us take more interest the price will be inflated, as it often id with Premier League interest.
He has started 11 games as a centre-forward, scoring 5 goals and having 1 assist, started 1 game on the right of midfield and 1 from the substitutes bench. He has an excellent shooter from distance, something that seems to suit our style.
