Ryad Boudebouz has been th subject of transfer speculation and Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs mentioned in connection with him.

Boudebouz is an Algerian international who plays for French Ligue 1 side Montpellier HSC as an  attacking midfielder, primarily centrally. He has scored 2 goals in 24 appearances for Algeria after havng 10 games for France Under-19's and 2 for the Under-17 side. 

He has started 13 games as a central attacking midfielder scoring 5 times and having 1 assit. he has also played 2 games as a deeper central midfielder, scoring 2 goals and having another assist. His other game was as a right-sided attacker, he is left-footed, which tells us he wss playing as an inverted winger.

A bit ike Christian Eriksen his weaknesses are listed as aerial duels and tackling. His major strengths are taking free-kicks and crossing. His strengths are listed as through balls, dribbling, key passing, holding on to the ball and making defensive blocks.

He is attracting interest from Spurs and a whole host of other clubs, Fiorentina, Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao, Everton, West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United, while Italian side Lazio are believed to have made a firm offer.

Montpellier chairman Laurent Nicollin has spoken to French radio station RMC about the speculation.

"With Ryad Boudebouz and his agent it is all put on hold until June. He is fine with us, he's exploding."
