Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur has been tracking Argentinian striker Sebastian Drussi for a couple of years now and recent reports suggest we are taking more than a keen interest. AC Milan, Real Madrid and Spartak Moscow seem to be our strongest rivals at the moment. Also interested are Valencia, Everton, West Ham United and Liverpool.

Young River Plate striker Drussi renewed his contract with the 29 times Champions last November and AC Milan began negotiations with his representatives at the beginning of December. His new contract now runs until 2019 and has a £13.05 million (15m - AUS$21.51m - US$15.89m) termination clause in it report La Pagina Millonaria (LPM).

he does have third party ownership which makes it very difficult for us to successfully sign him as they would have to be bought out and they naturally want to wait until they can get a big payday for him. This season he has hit 10 goals in 14 games, only failing to score in six.
