Spurs-Deadline-Day-moves

Mauricio Pochettino has suggested that there is a 1% chance Spurs might sign a special player if one becomes available that would improve the squad otherwise there will be no business.

There is speculation though that he will continue building for the future by adding to the conveyor belt of players Spurs are looking to build. Two players are specifically talked about as potential purchases with loan back agreements to their existing clubs.

Both are highly rated and highly sought after. The first is Ryan Sessegnon at Fulham who has been tipped to become one of the best left-backs in the world by his teammate Stefen Johansen.

“I hope he stays at Fulham but the way he is, it will be quite hard to keep him. It’s 99 per cent certain he will be one of the top left-backs in the world.
“I see no limit for Ryan to get to that level. He is an excellent player now but he can still improve as he gets used to playing good sides.
"Ryan played against a Premier League team and was unbelievable. It’s hard to compare him with [Real Madrid's Martin]Odegaard as they play in different positions, but they are two amazing talents.
“You look at young players today like Ryan, who is only 16. They are so confident, so good on the ball, so calm.”

In addition to ourselves Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea want to sign him. The 16-year-old (17 in May) has also been scouted by top clubs around Europe as well.

The second is 19-year-old (20 in May) Belgian international midfielder Youri Tielemans who has one senior cap, an 8-minute substitute appearance against Holland.

Tielemans played his first game for Anderlecht at the age of 16 years and in his first two seasons was Belgian Young Player of the Year.

The club seem sure they are going t lose him this summer and no doubt we won't be the only club trying to secure him early, he is one of the more sought-after young players in Europe with the experience he already has under his belt, quite apart from his ability.
