Spurs now the 10th most valuable club

Real Madrid is, according to Forbes magazine, the world 's most valuable club ahead of Barcelona and Manchester United. Tottenham Hotspur have moved up into 10th place.

Forbes have taken four types of income into account: those corresponding to match day, sports, brand and commercial revenues. Premier League teams dominate the table occupying six positions in the top ten. There are also 2 from Spain, 1 from Germany and 1 from Italy.
 

The Forbes ranking of the most valuable clubs in the world (euros):

1. Real Madrid - 3,442 million
2. Barcelona - 3,347 million
3. Manchester United - 3,130 million
4. Bayern Munich - 2,526 million
5. Arsenal - 1,904 million
6. Manchester City - 1,810 million
7. Chelsea - 1,565 million
8. Liverpool - 1,461 million
9. Juventus - 1,225 million
10. Tottenham Hotspur - 961 million
