There has been plenty of speculation from the press around Europe that Spanish ace Isco might be heading to clubs in France, England, Italy or Germany.
Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal have all been mentioned over here and we know Mauricio Pochettino has made several phone calls to the player to try and convince him that Spurs is the right project for him to join.
I mention the 'project' because players like Hugo Lloris want to be a part of something, for some the building aspect where they can make a difference appeals, for others it is simply money and others about winning things. Everyone is different, although fans seem to tar every player with the same brush.
I have no idea what Isco wants, what his character is, but after phone calls Pochettino will have some idea. One thing that seems to be certain from all we have heard and from quotes from Isco himself, is that he won't be going anywhere in January. Every noise is that he'll stay until the end of the season at Real Madrid and then assess his options.
He is getting more game time now and hit a brace against Granada recently in a 5-0 victory. That will keep him there until the summer when it is reported he has told teammates that he is keen on joining pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
The Dele Alli for Isco talk is complete rubbish made up by our gutter press and peddled as a genuine story, it isn't. Real Madrid don't want to sign Alli, he isn't a superstar yet and they have their pick of players.
