Burnley unlikely to do Spurs a favour

Manchester City take on Burnley today in what should be a routine three points for them. Burnley are a different side at home where they have a decent record, but struggle to score goals away from home.

I highlighted goal difference recently and two back-to-back 4-1 away wins have made it a far healthier position for us. We have a goal difference of +23, while Man City below us have +18 and Arsenal above us by one point, +22.

Naturally, we will be cheering on Burnley and hope they can take a point off City who have won 5, drawn 3 and lost 1 at home, scoring 17 goals and letting in 9. Burnley away are the worst team in the league, picking up a solitary draw with seven defeats, scoring just two goals (one against us) and letting in 18. Hopes are not high that they can do us a favour.
