Bruma likes 8 photos of him in a Spurs shirt

TRANSFER TALK

Tottenham target Bruma, the Portuguese winger playing in Turkey for Galatasaray was liking photos of himself in a Spurs shirt on Instagram yesterday morning.

Turkish newspaper Hurriyet are reporting that he is refusing to sign a new contract with Galatasaray. His existing contract runs until June 2018 so he will be entering the last year of his contract in the summer and his market value will drop.

A player can only command a top fee if he is tied into a long-term contract, once he hits two years left then a club has to get a player to sign an extension to protect their asset or they risk losing them for a small fee or even nothing.

Galatasaray want double what Spurs have put on the table, at least that is their starting position for negotiations.
