Another pundit offers their Tottenham opinion
Paul Scholes and Gary Neville, two former Manchester United players who won many trophies are uncertain if Tottenham has the mental strength and the squad to win the Premier League.
Jamie Carragher, from their bitter rivals Liverpool and also a trophy winner, certainly feels Spurs are contenders with three players on fire.
"They're contenders. Chelsea are favourites of course, but they [Tottenham] were very close last year.
"[Erik] Lamella and [Moussa] Sissoko, they spent big money on the two of them and they haven't quite delivered. But the more you watch Eriksen, Alli and Kane - these [players] are going to become superstars.
"And if they take them to the title then you can call them superstars."
He is right of course, if we are to catch Chelsea and win the title then these three have to be at the top of their game. We have to manage the knock-out stages of the UEFA Europa League though as well and start to take it even more seriously with stronger teams the nearer we get to the final.
That may have an effect on our Premier League performances as we have to rotate players. We will see then if Gary Neville is right or whether we have sufficient quality to do it.

So, I have no arguments with Paul & Gary's assessments. They both make good points. Frankly, I'll be happy if we show we can push Chelsea to the wire, and NO St Totteringham's day this year. That will tell the world we are yet again a force to be reckoned with - in spite of our much lighter purses.
I suspect we can do at least that and maybe take the title. COYS!!
