Spurs watch striker Uth but is he anywhere good enough?

Tottenham and Southampton watching 25-year-old (26 in August) Hoffenheim striker Mark Uth with a view to potential moves for him in the summer.

All the talk stems from one Daily Mirror article and although we are simply watching him as we are watching hundreds of other players, we apparently are set to battle it out with Southampton for him. Says who?

We are watching him, plain and simple, nothing more. Huddersfield Town offered £1.3 million for him in the summer, which was obviously rejected, now he is a top four striker? I don't think so and that is why we watch. We have to learn how he handles all situations, how he handles pressure.
