The funniest story I have seen in a long while involves relegation candidates West ham United and the absurd story that they want to sign Jese Rodriguez from PSG in January.

Why on earth would he want to go to a team battling relegation? We saw some pretty daft stories when they were supposedly trying to sign players with nothing to offer them. Their fans could grasp the fact they were at that stage a stepping stone club for a player to get to a bigger club, not a club a top player would consider going to.

The Daily Star suggest West Han are trying ti take the former Real Madrid man on loan in January, but with PSG reportedly lining up Roberto Mancini for the hot seat, there really isn't anything in it for PSG. If you have a quality player who needs game time he needs to be put with other quality players.

The story is from a few days ago that I missed, but I'm glad I found it so I could have a good laugh.
