Spurs still watching Fakir, a January move?

TRANSFER TALK

Wikipedia tell us that Nabil Fekir is a French footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a striker for Lyon. He came into Lyon's first team in July 2013, and became a regular in the team in his second season, being named Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year.

Last summer Spurs made an enquiry for him before we ended up buying Moussa Sissoko and his failure helps you understand why clubs keep watching players even if they have just bought one. You never know who is going to fail to live up to expectations and for whom you will require an immediate replacement.

Sissoko is a central midfielder whom we play on the wing, 23-year-old (24 next July) Fekir has played 5 games as a forward, 4 games as an attacking midfielder and 3 games as a wide right inverted winger so has the flexibility Pochettino seeks in his players. He has scored 2 goals from attacking midfield, 1 from the subs bench, has 1 assist as a forward and 1 assist as an inverted winger.
