It is that time of year and with the central heating coming on the eyes are once again playing up, as you will have noticed from the reduction of information. I'll struggle through once again.
Onto Tottenham and there is news this morning that we haven't forgotten about Marcelo Brozovic, the Inter Milan midfielder who was on a year-long loan move there with a compulsory purchase, who they immediately tried to sell. Brozovic demanded a wage increase and Inter didn't want to know especially as at that time he was merely a squad player.
Since then Inter have changed owners and changed bosses but the 24-year-old (25 next November) central midfielder is still out of favour.having played just 607 Serie minutes. He has lately found a spot in the starting line up and has started 7 games this season though.
The Daily Mirror report that we are this time considering a loan move with an option to buy, a try before you buy deal that makes sense on our part even if it doesn't of theirs. We could have done with that sort of deal for Sissoko, who now we see him, doesn't seem to have the technical ability to play our one touch football.
